From Boston (via Route 1A)

• From the Expressway (Route 93 North or South) go through the Callahan Tunnel • Follow signs towards Revere [northbound] … (do not follow into airport) … • This is the McClellan highway Rt. 1A North … continue for 2-3 miles … • As you enter into Revere, you will hit Bell Circle Rotary. Bear right at the set of lights towards Lynn and Swampscott staying on Rt. 1A North • Continue on Rt. 1A North for 4-5 miles • Pass over the General Edwards Bridge onto the Lynnway • Follow the Lynnway (you will pass Wal-Mart, Logan Furniture, Car Wash, Car Dealerships, Ferguson, Clock Tower Office Building) [1.6 miles] • Follow signs towards “Downtown Lynn Salem 1AN” • Get into left lanes • Take left at traffic light • Immediately take next right at next traffic light (North Shore Community College Campus on your right and a parking garage diagonally across) • Follow thru downtown Lynn, on Lewis Street, always staying on Rt. 1A North (you will pass Tedeschi Food Shops Brooks Pharmacy, Dunkin Donuts, Stones Bakery) [1.3 miles] • Pass “Entering Swampscott” sign on right hand side. Road becomes Paradise Road. • Continue on Paradise Road/Rt 1A North. (you will pass an elementary school on left, Foodmaster on right, Vinnin Liquors on right) • Pass thru major traffic light (entrance to Swampscott Mall on left) • At next traffic light, at “Entering Salem” sign, take a left. (this is a major intersection with Mobil gas station on your right, a Blockbuster Video on your left, a Staples diagonally on your right and a Texaco diagonally on your left) You are leaving Rt. 1A. [1.7 miles] • Follow to a stop sign and take a left onto Loring Avenue (Stanetsky Hymanson funeral home on you right) [.1 miles] • Pass thru a set of lights (Super Stop & Shop) and pass a cemetery on your right. [1.1 miles] • At next set of lights (Texaco Station on left side) take a right. • Drive on bridge over railroad tracks and bear right at bottom of bridge. You are on Swampscott Road continue .... (you will pass Aggregate Industries on your left, a driving range on your right, Castle Creek miniature golf on your left) • After Atlantic Extrusions, on the left hand side, take the next left. [1.1 miles] • Sign on corner reads “Salem Glass Company.” • First building on left hand side is Salem Glass. • Visitor entrance is 1st driveway. • Truck entrance is 2nd driveway. • If you pass Gold’s Gym on the left on Swampscott Road, then you have gone too far
